Het Vynckier masterplan, ontworpen door Revive<\/strong> met de betrokkenheid van ABC en in samenspraak met de stad Gent, behandelt de mogelijkheden en toekomstige ontwikkeling van de volledige Vyckier site.<\/p>\n

De locatie behoudt zijn status als werklocatie<\/strong>, met een productietraditie<\/strong> die 160 jaar teruggaat. Belangrijk is dat dit masterplan niet de eerste stap is naar een ruimtelijk uitvoeringsplan. Het gewestplan wijst deze zone aan als industriegebied<\/strong>. Bovendien biedt de historisch belangrijke status van de gebouwen ruimte voor flexibiliteit, waardoor ook niet-residenti\u00eble functies<\/strong> in overweging kunnen worden genomen.<\/p>\n

Het masterplan dient als een vertrekpunt voor verder overleg<\/strong>, dat de mogelijkheid biedt om de toekomst echt vorm te geven, nieuwe inzichten te verwerven en waar nodig verbeteringen door te voeren.<\/p>\n
